Fashion For All 2016 on 15th of October is the regions only plus size fashion show
Dubai: Fashion For All 2016 is the regions only plus size fashion show, where models of all sizes, ages and ethnicities walk the ramp. This year FFA 2016 will be held on Saturday 15th of October at The Fridge at Al Serkal Avenue in Al Qouz from7:00pm till 9:00pm.
What makes this year very exciting is the release of the Super Heroes Documentary Series at FFA 2016; these Documentaries are a collaborative production between Selfie TV and woman2woman to showcase real life role models from the community; individuals who are making a difference and living out their passions at the same time. The screening and reveal of the super heroes will take place on October 15th at The Fridge and these documentaries will be available for viewing by the public on selfietv.co as well.

This year FFA will showcase close to 50 models all hand picked from the community, they represent men and women of different nationalities, ages, and sizes; encompassing the ethos of Fashion For All. All the models have undergone a full month of training on Posture, Catwalk, Nutrition, Skin & hair care, Self confidence & Dance are all part of the sessions hosted by experts from each field; some of the trainers included Health & Beauty expert Malini Ohri, NLP & Confidence trainer Ruqya Khan, Fashion Stylist Alefia Tambawala, Model trainers Mohammed Shakeer & Komal Chhatwani, Dance trainers from MAD (Mad About Dance Institute) and Yoga & Meditation specialist Sucheta Chadda were involved in offering the models intensive grooming sessions in preparation for Fashion For All on 15th of October.
The Fashion Designers headlining this year are, SASH, which is an Indo-western fusion finds its home in bohemian design essence, compiled by two designer sisters; Sandhya & Sheetal Rajan will be showcasing their new collection “Devangana”; Yashraj Chhatwani will be showcasing his eclectic & sophisticated designs, drawing inspiration from the urban makeup of the city; Henna P Aswani, will be launching her label ‘Ravishing’ which is a celebration of women’s curves; Radhika Dhanwatay will be launching her new collection “The Phoenix”, her designs epitomize old world glamour, with distinct European style and a touch of oriental & traditional Indian influences. Last but not the least is Sabira Shah Nawaz; her work will have original artworks hand painted by 9 local Artists, including Anita Karani, Kavita Sriram, Sneha Harish, Renu Santosh, Nilam Rajesh, Sonali Sathyan, Latha Narayanan, Shobha Iyer & Shyamala Venkatesh are the artists working with Sabira to produce this unique collection; highlighting bespoke western wear for ladies and her emphasis is on “ Styles that stand apart “, for the modern woman.
Live performances at Fashion For All 2016 are by MAD (Mad About Dance) Institute.
