- Award win for ENOC Group subsidiary highlights EMGAS’s sustained focus on public safety and CSR practices
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Emirates Gas (EMGAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), was awarded the Dubai Chamber CSR Label Award in recognition of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility policies and practices.
The award recognises organisations that have made a positive impact on the community and demonstrated a commitment to CSR best practices.
Commenting on the recognition, His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ENOC, said: “Businesses, irrespective of the sector they operate in, exist in collaboration with surrounding communities, environment and people. Operating in a way that is responsible to these different stakeholders is essential, as the corporate purpose of any organisation is dependent on the positive interaction between these different aspects of our community.”
The award was EMGAS’ 6th consecutive award from the Dubai Chamber, having participated in this initiative since 2010. The Dubai Chamber CSR Label considers a company’s approach and performance to corporate responsibility in four key areas of impact, namely, workplace, marketplace, community and the environment.
“It is an honour to be recognised by Dubai Chamber for our work at EMGAS, and believe that this achievement reflects our commitment towards CSR.As EMGAS plans to expand into new markets, we plan to extend our CSR efforts to new regions by encouraging a culture where EHS comes first.” added Al Falasi.

“This recognition highlights the company’s sustained focus on public safety and best international CSR practices in line with Dubai Chamber’s efforts over the years in developing a culture of corporate social responsibility and to establish a reference within the business community to follow suit,” said H.E.
