Dubai: Nabrman, the Emirati fashion boutique for bespoke Abayas contributed to raising awareness on breast cancer during the month of October by donating a percentage of the company’s sales.

To assist in raising awareness about Breast Cancer, Nabrman donated 2% of all sales made in October to the Al Jalila Foundation Breast Cancer Programme.

“Breast cancer is a highly complex disease and there is not and will not be a single, simple solution. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Advances in research offer hope and healing to countless women diagnosed every year, research and early detection can save lives”, noted Dr. Houriya Kazim founder and president of Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation

During October, which is the Breast Cancer Awareness month, we at Nabrman decided to stay true to our core values and contribute to the safety and security of women by donating funds to Al Jalila Foundation for breast cancer treatment and research,’’ said Hend Al Mutawa, Founder of Nabrman.

For the last 10 years, Brest Friends has run the only breast cancer support group in Dubai where patients and survivors meet once a month to learn, socialize and support each other.
