SADAFCO Launches 4th Edition of the Popular ‘My Saudia Kitchen’ Campaign

A culinary journey that will equip you with the knowledge and skills to Plan, Cook and Impress

Jeddah: Building on the success of the past three editions of the popular ‘My Saudia Kitchen’ campaign, Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) has begun rolling out the latest series of its highly successful culinary roadshow in nine different cities across the Kingdom.

Running until end of January 2017 across major malls, the roadshow is set to put you on a culinary journey that will equip you with the knowledge and skills to Plan, Cook and Impress

‘My Saudia Kitchen’ aims to advise women of the benefits of food preparation and presentation in a way that is appetizing, aesthetically pleasing and nutritionally beneficial to the entire family.

This weekend from 1 – 3 December 2016, the campaign heads to Aseer Mall in Abha to bring the concept to life in the South of the Kingdom with live cooking demonstrations at the specially designed interactive Saudia booths in malls.

“Preparing your own meals, making the right choices and planning the grocery shopping process are keys to ensure individuals maintain a healthy diet,” said Sara Alshehri, Assistant Category Manager. “Our key focus is to inform Saudi women about the importance of choices and how small changes can make a significant difference towards their health and well-being in the years to come.”

‘My Saudia Kitchen’ chefs will also provide tips on how to plan weekly grocery lists, meal schedules as well as recipes on how to cook the most balanced, healthy and mouth-watering meals. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the nutritional benefits of SADAFCO’s products as well as learn how to make main entrees, side dishes, snacks, desserts and more.

“The two factors to any success are preparation and knowledge,” added Sara Alshehri. “This was exactly why we introduced ‘My Saudia Kitchen’ to the people of Saudi Arabia, and we are even more excited to see the positive response in the new cities we are targeting.”

The roadshow also provides access to tools to be used with visitors’ newly-acquired knowledge, for example the weekly meal planner that is available for download from the Saudi Kitchen website.

‘My Saudia Kitchen’ 2016 will also be conducting online competitions as a platform for consumers to showcase their impressive cooking skills by sharing recipes or ideas for table decoration. Visitors to the ‘My Saudia Kitchen’ booth will also get a voucher for a free Saudia product to get them started.

After the initial visit to Dhahran Mall earlier in November, ‘My Saudia Kitchen’ roadshow will visit Aseer Mall in Abha, Riyadh Gallery in Riyadh, Red Sea Mall and Al Salam Mall in Jeddah, Al Nakheel Plaza in Qassim, Tabuk Mall in Tabuk, Jouri Mall in Taif, Makkah Mall in Makkah and Al Noor Mall in Madinah.
