ServeU’s CSR Campaign Kicks Off With Clean-Up Drive In Umm Suqeim Beach

Event is first in a series of CSR activities planned in support of Year of Zayed initiative

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: ServeU, the facilities management subsidiary of Union Properties, kicked off its 2018 CSR campaign today with a clean-up project in Umm Suqeim Beach.  Aimed at highlighting the importance of environmental protection, this pilot project is part of the company’s CSR commitment to the Year of Zayed initiative, which focuses on sustainability as one of its key values.

ServeU is strengthening its CSR efforts this year, targeting to launch a new initiative every two months or at least one project every quarter. This is in line with its strategy directed primarily towards the development of a new growth era for the company.

Around 60 employees from the company attended the event, collecting non-biodegradable trash and other litter from the wide expanse of the Umm Suqeim Beach. In addition to setting an example to the wider community on the importance of environmental care, ServeU also shared best practices in identifying ecologically-safe materials and processes to eliminate ocean trash.
