In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates, “Al Aan TV” announced the launch of a competition for their audience, starting from the eighth of this November, on Akhbar Al Aan website. The competition includes 10 questions related to facts about the UAE and aims to enhance public awareness about the most prominent historical stages that the UAE has witnessed since the establishment of the union.
The competition allows anyone around the world to participate by visiting the country’s golden jubilee celebration page on the channel’s news website. The competition offers an opportunity to win a big cash prize for one of the contestants after successfully passing the ten questions. Al Aan TV will hand out the prize to the winner, wherever he or she is.
Solange El Rassi, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Al Aan TV, confirmed that the main objective of the competition is to educate the public about the most prominent stages of the country’s march since its founding in 1971, and to involve the channel’s followers in the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the UAE in an innovative way that motivates them to read about the history of the country, and search for answers to quiz questions that are distinguished by their diversity. El Rassi explained that this initiative would contribute to enhancing cultural communication, as it sheds light on the country’s culture and heritage, and the most prominent features of its successful story in achieving a distinguished position in the ranks of developed countries.
