Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Arabian Automobiles, the flagship company of the AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive dealer for Nissan in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has announced the launch of the 2018 Nissan 370Z NISMO, which is the third offering from Nissan’s in-house performance division to be introduced to the UAE.
NISMO, which is Nissan’s motorsport and road car performance range, made its regional debut in 2015 with the launch of the Nissan Patrol NISMO — an instant fan favourite that has seen wide success throughout the region. The legendary Nissan GT-R NISMO was rolled out in the Middle East the following year.
The NISMO 370Z is an iconic two-door, two-seater car that boasts a true motorsport look and feel throughout the driver-centric cabin and bold exterior. The vehicle features a series of state-of-the-art technologies that deliver an exhilarating drive, including a 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) and NISMO-Tuned Suspension. The free-flowing dual exhaust of the VVEL reduces back pressure and increases high-end power, while a seven-speed automatic transmission gives a wide spread of gearing for amazing acceleration, offering the best of both the manual and automatic worlds.
The 370Z NISMO also comes equipped with a suite of safety, driving, and convenience features designed to inspire confidence behind the wheel and make every ride better, safer, and more enjoyable. The Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control Systems reduce engine power and apply brake pressure to specific wheels, working in tandem to sense rear-wheel spin and reduce throttle to support stability. To prevent wheel lockup and maintain steering control, the Anti-Lock Braking System pumps the brakes faster than drivers possibly can, while the Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Brake Assist system enable a quicker stop by applying maximum braking force and detecting added weight to send extra force to the rear brakes.
