Dubai-UAE: This Ramadan family-favourite dining options at Bay Avenue, Bay Square and JBR offer a variety for Iftar and Suhoor through the Holy Month. Beginning Thursday, 25th May until 26, foodies can indulge their taste buds with a culinary smorgasbord that include mouth-watering treats from Europe to the Levant and everything in between.
JBR
Located in a stunning beachfront setting, this leading outdoor shopping district and vibrant retail promenade is by far one of the most popular lifestyle destinations in Dubai, replete with big brands and numerous F&B options. This Ramadan diners will have plenty to choose from with most restaurants offering special discounts, and lavish spreads for iftar and suhoor.
For a local food vibe pop over to Qurtoba Café that will serve an Arabic and seafood iftar buffet, whilst suhoor will be a la carte, and all orders between 8.00pm and 2.00am will get a 50 per cent discount. If looking for a meatier place to assuage your hunger, the Butcher Shop and Grill is open for dining from 7.00pm to 1.00am and customers will be able to use vouchers to buy one main dish and get one for free. For flavours from the sub-continent Barbecue Delights has an iftar buffet from 7.00pm to 8:30pm and offers a suhoor buffet only on weekends from 12.00am to 3.00am. The Tche Tche Café at Sadaf 4 (P03) in JBR is open from 7.00pm till 3.00am and their Ramadan special offer includes a choice of sandwich or salad with one soft drink and extras for AED70.
Bay Square

Bay Avenue

The Bay Avenue mall will host a daily market from 7:30pm until 10:00pm and will include an Arabic majlis, henna, calligraphy, and kids’ activities on the weekends (Thu-Fri-Sat) from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
The Mudon and Shorooq Community Centres too will be decorated for Ramadan and will offer henna, kids’ arts and crafts on the weekends (Fri-Sat) from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
Share a touch of love this Ramadan
Once again DP is partnering with Unilever to be part of the Ramadan’s Share a touch of love campaign. This is the 8th year for the campaign and DP is taking part in it for the second year. Collection boxes will be placed at key locations, across DP communities, for visitors and residents to donate clothes. These locations include Bay Avenue, Bay Square, JBR, Vision Tower Corporate Office, Mudon Community Centre, Layan Community Centre, Shorooq Community Centre, Ghoroob Community Centre and Al Khail Gate Community Centre. All donated clothes are washed with OMO detergent and sent to Red Crescent for distribution. The campaign runs from 18th May until 25th July.
