Dubai, United Arab Emirates: With oil and gas organizations in the Middle East focussed on optimizing asset performance and increasing profitability, global technology leader Honeywell (NYSE: HON) will be highlighting its ‘Connected Plant, Connected Worker’ offering  at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference from 7-10 November 2016.

In line with the company’s objective to drive operational excellence in regional industries, Honeywell’s ‘Connected’ solutions introduce new possibilities for safety, productivity, organizational responsiveness and profitability, by delivering meaningful information where and when it is needed. This is achieved through intelligent technology and by leveraging the power of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to connect the entire plant operation – from workers to infrastructure – enabling it to perform more intelligently and eliminating unnecessary cost, downtime and complexity.

“For more than 60 years, Honeywell has been playing an integral role in driving operational excellence in local industries by providing high-technology products and services which advance the region’s infrastructure,” said Norm Gilsdorf, president of Honeywell’s high growth regions for Russia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

“As the largest industry event in the world, ADIPEC is an important platform to showcase our leading-edge ‘Connected’ offering and demonstrate how this allows companies to operate at optimum capacity at the lowest possible risk. As the oil and gas industry is searching for ways to improve productivity and boost profitability during the current era of low crude prices, getting the most value out of existing assets is imperative. Honeywell’s diverse suite of products and solutions address this consideration, in line with ADIPEC’s theme this year of ‘Strategies for the New Energy Landscape’.”

Honeywell’s unique technology proposition will be presented at stand #7310 & #13575  at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) throughout the exhibition.

The showcase will cover the full range of smart solutions, which leverage IIoT in order to provide companies with the ability to increase production at a higher rate of output, safely and efficiently. With more than 10,000 installations around the world, manufacturers are using Honeywell IIoT-based technologies to shorten the time needed for plants to reach and maintain their peak performance targets.

Visitors to the Honeywell stand can expect a journey that demonstrates the true power of connectivity through Honeywell’s portfolio of solutions including:

o   Modular IIOT Enabled Platform; E&ES Elster Smart Meters that improve connectivity and digitalization – leveraging IIoT capabilities to drive efficiencies and unlock new revenue streams;

o   Experion Orion, Honeywell Pulse to maximize productivity and unlock value – streamlining operations and improving decision making and analytics to make people, process and assets more effective, resulting in improved productivity and reduced costs;

o   Energy Dashboard  that makes operations more energy efficient – providing solutions that offer greater visibility into customers’ energy usage and a comprehensive strategy to reduce emissions;

o   Command and Control Suite; Honeywell Risk Manager, HIS Gas detector, ConneXt Safety Solutions to ensure safe and secure operations – physical and cyber security solutions that minimize risk and reduce or even prevent incidents from occurring.

Honeywell is also a key participant at the VIP panel discussions held on the side-lines of the international event.
