Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai Festival City, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate’s fully integrated destination, is all set to host its first ever Halloween Run to celebrate the World Halloween Day. Following the success of Dubai Festival City Half Marathon and Santa Run, this fun run is expected to have an attendance of 600 to 1000 participants.
Organised in partnership with Race ME and association with the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Festival City Halloween Run is scheduled on Saturday, 30th October.
Covering an area of 2.5km and 5km, this run will take place on the promenade area of Dubai Festival City starting right from Festival Bay – IHG Hotel to Marsa Plaza and back. Runners will start on a specific track which includes a haunted tunnel where they could get spooked at any point of time.
Dubai Festival City is known to host fun family events such as the Half Marathon and Santa run. Along with celebrating the culture of the nation, it also brings joy to everyone while also promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst our residents and visitors. Being the first ever Halloween Run, residents, visitors can create fun filled memories as they get spooked during the marathon.
Dubai Festival City encourages all the residents, tenants, members, mall visitors, families and their kids to wear their best Halloween costumes and complete the fun run to win great surprises. This fun activity includes the collection of sweets from all the event spectators and staff. The participants who wear Halloween costumes will receive a hat, a bag of sweets for the run along with fancy dress prizes.
Dubai Festival City Halloween Run will begin at 6.30pm with the main event starting at 8pm. The event will start on the west side of the mall in the heliport area where all the participants will meet.
