Dubai, UAE: SushiArt, Europe’s most popular fast-casual sushi restaurant, is set to open in Motor City’s new mall, First Avenue, offering shoppers a beautiful, quality dining experience in one of Dubai’s most exciting suburban quarters.
SushiArt will be among 15 casual dining restaurants at First Avenue, meeting rising demand for places to eat from the local community, as well as from families, business travellers, shoppers and tourists who will visit the mall and hotel.
The new restaurant will span 1,600sq/ft. SushiArt‘s unique menu, refined and perfected by a team of high-profile chefs, impressed sushi enthusiasts in Europe before opening its first Dubai outlet in DIFC in 2013. It now has four outlets across the country, as well as expansion plans for the GCC region. SushiArt is designed as a concept restaurant, with eat-in and online delivery options for home and office. The restaurant’s contemporary design and Japanese-themed menu is beautifully curated to appeal to professionals and discerning sushi lovers looking for higher quality sushi, sashimi, and maki. SushiArt employs more than 100 staff in the UAE with a focus on customer service.
Industry analysts say the premium, fast-casual restaurant concept is growing faster than any other segment in the food sector in the UAE. A recent survey, carried out in the UAE by the global professional services firm, KPMG, shows that casual dining restaurants are the most popular food and beverage choices. Over three-fifths of people in the UAE eat out at least once weekly, with an average spend of AED120 per person, according to the survey. Some 60% of diners are willing to travel for more than 20 minutes for the right food experience.
