Michelin- star chef opens ‘Tom’s Kitchen Deli’ at Riverland, Dubai Parks & Resorts
Dubai: Award-winning chef Tom Aikens’ has officially opened Tom’s Kitchen Deli at Riverland™ Dubai at Dubai Parks and Resorts. The internationally renowned British chef’s first international deli brings a fun new concept of casual dining for families visiting the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park.
Aikens recently spent time with his culinary team at the creatively styled deli completing finishing touches to the diverse menu of freshly prepared foodie delights.
“Dubai is known for being a culinary hotspot and it is exciting to be here in this great city, a place we have chosen as the ideal spot to open our first international Tom’s Kitchen Deli,” said Tom Aikens. “The deli’s style is reflective of its location. The colorful and vibrant environment offers families and friends a relaxing dining experience with fresh, delicious food.”
The new Dubai deli brings life to casual dining while staying true to core values of Tom’s Kitchen. The family-friendly deli offers a fun and lively environment with a colorful statement ceiling, witty wall illustrations, and stylish furniture.
In addition to a set menu, Tom’s Kitchen Deli also offers a daily changing menu of indulgent and healthy items, including a selection of wraps, paninis, and burgers made with fresh produce and freshly prepared fillings. Guests can also enjoy a variety of desserts such as candy floss, cheese cake, ice cream, and crepes all of which can be enjoyed with a variety of toppings.
The deli is Tom Aikens’ second venture in the Middle East, following his successful restaurant Pots, Pans & Boards located at The Beach on JBR.

Tom Aikens is one of the UK’s most acclaimed and inspirational British chefs. His remarkable career took him to David Cavalier’s in Battersea, Pierre Koffman’s La Tante Clare, Pied-a-Terre and Joel Robuchon in Paris to name a few. At 26, Tom became the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars. He is dedicated to serving only the highest quality, ethically sourced ingredients and continually supports The Environment Justice Foundation to raise awareness of illegal ‘pirate’ fishing and diminishing fish stocks. Tom works closely with various charities including: the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Campaign, Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and School Food Matters, where he teaches young children basic cooking skills. He has also written three books: Cooking (2006), Fish (2008) and Easy (2011), and has made several appearances on television.
