CEFE Group International appoints SCST for implementation of Sage X3

Sage X3 for Construction, and Sage X3 People are part of solutions package

Dubai: Sage, the market and technology leader for integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems, and partner Sharaf Computers and Software Trading LLC (SCST)  recently began implementing a solutions suit consisting of Sage X3, Sage X3 People, and Sage X3 for Construction at CEFE Group International.

CEFE Group International, a large company with operations in UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan has a large portfolio spreading across sectors such as construction, supply chain, logistics, overseas shipping and transportation, engineering, and consulting amongst others. Due to the size and geographic spread of the organisation, CEFE Group International had been relying on two separate accounting and operation systems.

The functioning of the two different systems resulted in inefficiency across the group’s business operations, and reconciliation between the two systems would have proven time consuming and complex. CEFE Group International sought an integrated business management solution to centralize and streamline its business operations to improve accountability, transparency, and operational control. Further, CEFE Group International had only recently ventured into the construction sector, and the existing system could not manage the company’s estimates, project milestones, and project based procurement management.

Sage X3 was selected for its ability to match the specific processes of CEFE Group International such as configurable fields and workflows, support for multiple languages and legislation. The functionalities of Sage X3 Construction provide added value acting as a pull factor for the selection of the solutions package

The enormity of the CEFE diversified operations requires the implementation of Sage X3, Sage X3 for Construction, and Sage X3 People. Sage X3 is a web based business management solution that provides organisations with flexibility and agility, while Sage X3 for Construction has in-built capabilities to deal with the specifics of the construction sector, and Sage X3 People is built for the management and development of human resources and human capital management. The agility and cohesiveness offered by the Sage X3 solutions enable employees from CEFE Group International access to information from anywhere and through any device.
