101domus is highlighting twelve Italian makers of luxury dining tables for clients and design professionals in the Middle East, where formal dining rooms in villas, palaces and hotels call for a table that holds its presence and its value over decades. The selection comes from the updated 101domus English-language guide to Italian dining tables, which compares the makers by material and design language rather than by rank.
The guide is part of 101domus’s editorial work for international markets, including the Middle East, where the platform has reaffirmed its partnership with INDEX Saudi Arabia 2026.
Marble and natural stone dominate the selection. Annibale Colombo sets the Kenja Black marble top of its Bend table on a base of more than 130 solid wood elements, each shaped and polished by hand. Vibieffe rests a Sahara Noir marble top on oak veneer columns and a brass-clad pillar, with proportions suited to residential and hospitality interiors alike. Medea 1905, founded in 1905, pairs marble with ebonized lacquered wood and bronze-finish details in its Idro table, or with a matte gold lacquered metal base in the Lotus. Lenzi Home sculpts the Clepsy pedestal from solid marble, Elledue sets a marble top on solid cylindrical bases for the Vesta, and Pimar shapes natural stone into the circular Geo XL.
Wood, leather and metal offer other routes. Giorgio Collection pairs Tasmanian curly eucalyptus veneer with satin grey nickel stainless steel in the Moonlight table. Riva 1920 builds the Revo in solid wood, Bizzotto Italia uses burl wood from reclaimed, centuries-old trees for the Sidney, and Malerba covers the solid wood base of its Must Have table in leather, with a wide choice of marble tops. Cantori combines a marble or ceramic top with a laser-cut steel base on the Rodin, and Sicis places hammered metal beneath glass in the Onde Gold.
Many of these makers offer customisation of finish, dimension and material, so that a table can be configured for a specific room. 101domus supports this process through a single point of coordination for Italian manufacturers, bringing together product enquiries, bespoke requests, technical information, production planning and international logistics.
