A new UAE-born platform is aiming to transform one of the most traditionally complex legal processes, will creation and registration. EasyWill, which has officially launched in the UAE, is the first fully digital service in the country to enable residents to draft, review, translate and register their wills entirely online and in full compliance with local legislation.

Built on artificial intelligence trained specifically on UAE federal laws and inheritance regulations, the platform streamlines what has long required legal consultations, multiple appointments and in-person court visits. Through a multilingual interface that meets all Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) requirements, users can create a will which is accurately translated after which the Wills are signed and notarized through a secure video call with an approved notary, ensuring official authentication without the need for in person visits.

The launch comes at a time when interest for will registration is accelerating. The DIFC Courts’ Wills Service reported a 14 per cent rise in registered wills in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year, a trend driven by growing property ownership and personal asset accumulation across the country.

EasyWill also seeks to address a long-standing concern among residents navigating inheritance rules which may not always align with an individual’s personal wishes. Registering a will with the Abu Dhabi Civil Court, however, allows testators to outline their own intentions, a process the new platform aims to simplify significantly.

“EasyWill is a milestone in digital legal innovation, designed to empower individuals to protect their assets with ease and confidence, anywhere and anytime,” said Alessandro Console, Co-founder and CEO of EasyWill. “Our mission is to make estate planning accessible, transparent and fully aligned with UAE law.”

Developed in the Emirates with Italian technological expertise, the platform supports the UAE’s broader digital transformation agenda. Its creators say it has already attracted interest from banks, developers and real estate firms seeking to integrate will registration services into their client offerings.

By merging AI-driven precision with seamless user experience, EasyWill positions itself as a first-of-its-kind solution in the region — one that could redefine how residents plan, protect and pass on their assets in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
