COFFEE PLANET BRINGS SPECIALTY COFFEE TO DUBAI’S SERENA COMMUNITY WITH NEW CAFÉ OPENING

Dubai, UAE – July 2026: Coffee Planet, one of the GCC’s most established integrated coffee companies, has announced the opening of its newest coffee shop at Serena Centre by Dubai Retail. Marking the brand’s 14th store in the UAE and latest addition to its growing network, the new café reflects the homegrown specialty coffee company’s commitment to making high-quality coffee more accessible within Dubai’s residential neighbourhoods.

Located in the Serena Community in Wadi Al Safa 7, the café offers seating for 40 to 45 guests and provides a functional and inviting space where residents can enjoy specialty coffee as part of their everyday routines.

For nearly 20 years, Coffee Planet has been serving customers across the UAE and the wider region, witnessing the evolution of Dubai’s urban landscape and the growing demand for quality experiences closer to where people live.

The opening of the Serena Centre outlet also reflects the brand’s continued focus on community retail destinations, including neighbourhood centres within residential developments, where it is increasingly building its presence through franchise partnerships such as DASH Hospitality Group rather than traditional mall expansion routes.

“Today, people value convenience without compromising on quality, and we believe great coffee should be part of their everyday lives,” said Allan Jones, Founder and Chairman, Coffee Planet. “As Dubai continues to grow through vibrant residential developments, we are focusing more on community-based retail destinations where we can become part of our customers’ daily routines. Our partnership with DASH for this franchise location enables us to bring the Coffee Planet experience closer to where people live, while maintaining the quality and consistency that Coffee Planet has been known for over the past two decades.”

Hayder Alnashie, Founder & CEO, DASH Hospitality Group, added: “We are pleased to partner with Coffee Planet to bring the brand into the Serena community. This location reflects the growing demand for accessible, high-quality coffee experiences within residential neighbourhoods, and we are proud to play a role in delivering that to residents through this franchise partnership.”

Since its establishment in 2005, Coffee Planet has grown into one of the UAE’s pioneering specialty coffee brands, recognised for its commitment to ethically sourced beans, in-house roasting expertise and exceptional coffee experiences. The opening of the Serena Centre café further strengthens the company’s footprint across the UAE and reflects its continued investment in serving customers where they live, work and connect.

Located at Serena Centre by Dubai Retail on Emirates Road, the new coffee shop offers Coffee Planet’s signature range of freshly roasted specialty coffees alongside a selection of beverages and light bites in a welcoming environment designed for catchups, remote working and moments of relaxation.
