SEHA CLINICS achieved three Platinum and three Gold recognitions across six categories of healthcare excellence, including the highest regional score of 99/100 in Quality Management & Patient Safety
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – September 2026: SEHA CLINICS, part of PureHealth, the largest healthcare group in the Middle East, has been recognised as a Holistic Role Model in the 7th Edition of the Gold Initiative Certificate, organised by the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, UAE, achieving three Platinum and three Gold recognitions across six categories of healthcare excellence.
The Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) promotes excellence across the Arab healthcare sector, with a focus on quality, safety, innovation and patient-centred care. The 2026 edition received 332 submissions from 10 Arab countries, with 50 institutions recognised for their achievements across key areas of healthcare excellence.
The awards were formally presented during a ceremony held on 8 September, at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, with representatives from SEHA CLINICS and PureHealth receiving the recognition. Among the achievements, SEHA CLINICS received the highest regional score of 99/100 in Quality Management & Patient Safety for the Allied Health project, “Future-Proofing Hearing Health of Youth in the Era of Videogaming: Primary Care Leads the Way”. SEHA CLINICS also achieved Platinum recognition in Operational Excellence & Resource Optimisation and Patient-Centred Care & Experience, alongside Gold recognition in Leadership, Governance & Continuous Improvement; Workforce Development & Wellbeing; and Sustainability, Hospital Design & Resilience.
Dr Khadija Al Marashda, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA CLINICS, said: “This recognition reflects the collective commitment of our teams to continuously strengthen the way healthcare is delivered across our communities. Achieving recognition across these six categories is particularly meaningful because excellence in healthcare is not defined by one area alone. It requires strong governance, clinical quality and patient safety, operational efficiency, an empowered workforce and, above all, an experience built around the needs of every patient.
As SEHA CLINICS continues to grow, these achievements reinforce our commitment to strengthening our role as a trusted primary healthcare provider, delivering accessible, high-quality care across our communities.”
The six recognitions demonstrate performance across the full spectrum of healthcare delivery, from clinical quality and patient safety to operational excellence and patient experience. Among these, the three Gold recognitions further acknowledge SEHA CLINICS’ approach to leadership and governance, investment in its workforce, and commitment to sustainability and organisational resilience.
As part of the wider PureHealth network, SEHA CLINICS continues to strengthen community-based healthcare across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, connecting patients with specialist and hospital-based services when required and supporting continuity of care across the wider healthcare system. This integrated model supports SEHA CLINICS’ role as a trusted primary healthcare provider, delivering accessible care across communities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
