Ajman, United Arab Emirates – September 2026: The Ajman Department of Finance organised its 2026 Partners’ Gathering at Ajman Saray, bringing together representatives from 42 partner entities and institutions across various sectors. The gathering reflected the Department’s commitment to building effective and sustainable partnerships aligned with its strategic objectives and its ambition to advance a more resilient, efficient, and future-ready financial ecosystem.

The gathering reinforced the role of partnerships in supporting government financial operations and strengthening integration across local and federal government entities, financial institutions, academia, and the community sector. It also provided a platform for direct dialogue, enabling the Department to explore new opportunities for collaboration and integration that can generate tangible outcomes and sustainable value.

During the event, the Department highlighted its Strategic Roadmap for 2025–2027, alongside partnership results and key performance indicators. It also showcased collaboration models illustrating the practical value of strategic partnerships in developing more flexible and accessible financial services, strengthening the quality of data available for decision-making, enhancing Ajman’s competitiveness, and supporting the emirate’s comprehensive development.

HE Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Ajman Department of Finance, said: “Partnerships represent a strategic pillar in advancing government financial operations and achieving shared objectives. We value the contributions of our partners in supporting the Department’s projects and services, as well as strengthening the integration of data and financial solutions. Through this gathering, we seek to understand their aspirations and priorities, expand opportunities for collaboration, and translate shared potential into initiatives that deliver measurable results and sustainable impact. This contributes to greater government efficiency and quality of life while supporting the development priorities of Ajman Vision 2030.”

He added: “The true value of a partnership lies in the solutions it generates, the results it delivers, and the opportunities it creates to enhance performance efficiency and improve the customer experience. This gathering provides an important platform for strengthening those outcomes and shaping the next phase of collaboration.”

Maryam Al Dhuhoori, Head of the Institutional Relations Center at the Ajman Department of Finance, explained that the Department adopts an institutional approach to partnership management, based on alignment with strategic priorities, clearly defined roles, continuous follow-up, and measurement of results and added value.

She said: “The Partners’ Gathering gives us a valuable opportunity to engage directly with our partners and understand their priorities for the next phase. We will assess the proposals and opportunities presented and coordinate with partners and relevant organisational units to translate applicable ideas into clear areas of collaboration and measurable initiatives. This will strengthen the effectiveness and sustainability of our partnerships, support service development, and generate mutual value.”

At the conclusion of the gathering, the Ajman Department of Finance honoured participating entities for their contributions to the Department’s operations, projects, and initiatives. Their cooperation, expertise, resources, and added value have played an important role in achieving shared outcomes and advancing services and projects.

The outcomes of the gathering will help define clear priorities for developing existing relationships, strengthening coordination and follow-up mechanisms, and exploring new opportunities for digital integration, data exchange, and the development of joint financial services and solutions. They will also support continued improvements to methodologies used to measure the value and impact generated through partnerships, further strengthening the Department’s approach to effective and sustainable partnership management.
