New vacancies, graduate programmes, Emiratisation initiatives and AI-powered career tools put practical career opportunities at the heart of Day Two
Dubai, UAE, September 2026: New vacancies, graduate programmes, career development initiatives and AI-powered tools came into focus on the second day of Ru’ya, Careers UAE 2026, as employers looked beyond recruitment to how young Emiratis can build skills and progress throughout their careers.
With more than 150 employers and organisations participating across 23+ sectors, Ru’ya is connecting Emirati students, graduates and professionals with immediate career opportunities while also giving them access to the guidance, learning and practical tools that can help shape their next move.
Across the show, employers and industry partners are highlighting the growing importance of digital capabilities, adaptability, continuous learning and leadership, while introducing programmes designed to support Emirati talent from the first job through to longer-term career development.
Employers open new pathways for Emirati talent:
For many visitors, Ru’ya is an opportunity to look beyond a single vacancy and explore where a career could lead.
United Arab Bank (UAB) is showcasing 17 vacancies alongside its Tomouh Fresh Graduate Programme, designed to support recent graduates as they take their first steps into professional life. The bank is also highlighting collaborations with educational institutions aimed at strengthening connections between education, skills development and employment.

For Parsons, Ru’ya is also demonstrating how a conversation at a careers exhibition can translate into a career.
The engineering and infrastructure company, which has worked on major projects across Dubai including the Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines, Route 2020 and the Infinity Bridge, returns with nearly 60 opportunities across engineering, project management, urban planning, architecture and other functions. Among its team this year is Stakeholder Engineer Marwa AlMaazmi, who first connected with Parsons when she visited its Ru’ya stand last year and subsequently joined the company.
AlMaazmi said: “Attending Ru’ya last year was an important step in my career journey. As an engineer, I knew Parsons as a consultancy involved in major infrastructure projects in Dubai and across the region, so I was keen to visit its booth. The team welcomed me, answered my questions about the company and the opportunities available, and took an interest in my experience.
“Joining Parsons shortly after has been an incredible experience. I’ve learned a great deal from the team while working on different projects and coordinating with various authorities. The role has helped me build new skills, understand how projects move forward, and grow more confident in my work. Elsewhere across the show, BESIX is introducing its first UAE National Programme, Al-Futtaim is highlighting its SINYAR talent and leadership platform, while the Financial Audit Authority is showcasing its University Internship Programme across disciplines including accounting, finance, human resources and information systems.
Ru’ya also provided the platform for Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai (EHRDC) to announce the Al Ghaf – DHCA Emiratisation Excellence Award, which will recognise organisations across the Dubai Healthcare City ecosystem for their efforts to attract, develop and retain Emirati talent.
AI enters the career journey:
Technology is also changing how candidates prepare for opportunities. TelleScope is showcasing three AI-powered career tools at Ru’ya, supporting career discovery, CV development and interview preparation.

Education meets employment:
The relationship between education, skills and employment was also explored through the Ru’ya Podcast Studio, produced in collaboration with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI). Day Two conversations featured Dr Abdulrahman Nassir of KHDA, Ahmad Al Janahi of KPMG Lower Gulf, May AlMansoori and Reem Alblooshi of Emirates NBD, and H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, covering education, career development, future leadership skills and building the UAE workforce of tomorrow.
Together, the conversations form part of a three-day podcast programme examining the choices, skills and opportunities shaping the next generation of Emirati careers.
