‘PropTech of the Year’ goes regional: Property Finder Awards open the category to the whole of MENA

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October, 2026 – The Property Finder Awards, the night that has become the UAE real estate industry’s own measure of excellence is set to return for their 13th edition. This edition will carry a first. The ‘PropTech of the Year’ category opens to companies founded anywhere in the MENA region, the first time any Property Finder Awards category has extended beyond the UAE, and applications are open now.

The Property Finder Awards have always brought the market together to recognise the people and companies redefining real estate, judged not on presentation but on performance. Last year’s edition gathered the industry at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, and awarded 95 trophies across nine categories, with the PropTech winner chosen by an independent panel of leaders from firms including Engel & Völkers, Espace Real Estate, and the Dubai Future District Fund. Over thirteen editions, including this year’s, these recognitions have become the benchmark the real estate industry measures itself against.

That is why opening PropTech of the Year matters. Proptech has moved from the margins of the property market to its centre, and companies across the region have spent years building the solutions that solve real estate’s hardest problems. It is only right that the recognition now reaches beyond the UAE. The Awards are widening to meet them. The category looks for the businesses solving a genuine industry problem through data, automation, financing, construction, or customer experience, not the ones with the brightest interface.

Last year’s winner was Keyper, Dubai’s Rent Now, Pay Monthly platform, a company Property Finder went on to partner with. Keyper has since gone from strength to strength, raising an $11 million in Series A funding in July 2026.

“Winning PropTech of the Year reminded us that one bold idea can change how a whole market lives. For Keyper, that meant taking the cheque out of renting in the UAE and making the whole experience simpler for tenants. Now the stage is open to all of the region’s builders who are ready to do the same. If you’re one of them, apply. The next big shift in how this region rents, buys and lives could start with you.” said Omar Abu Innab, Co-founder & CEO, Keyper.

This year the invitation goes out across MENA. Any proptech company founded in the region is invited to enter. Explore the categories at https://awards.propertyfinder.ae/ or apply directly at https://form.jotform.com/261931900221447.

Applications close on 17th November 2026.
