Under the patronage of His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) attended the opening ceremony of the 16th edition of Milipol Qatar 2026, the global exhibition for internal security and safety, and the Doha International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Security, which will continue from October 20 to 22 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
The opening ceremony was attended by the country’s guests, Their Excellencies the Ministers of Interior, Justice and Security, and the heads, commanders and commissioners of the police in a number of brotherly and friendly countries, in addition to a number of senior military and security leaders in the country, a group of experts and specialists from various countries of the world, and representatives of major international companies specialized in the fields of internal security and safety.
Following the inauguration, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), toured the pavilions and sections of the exhibition, during which he was accompanied by the country’s guests and a number of senior officials in the country, where he was briefed on the latest equipment, equipment, services and innovative systems in the fields of internal security and civil defense. His Excellency listened to a full explanation of the characteristics of the security systems on display, their advanced technologies, their integration mechanisms, and their role in strengthening the internal security system and crime prevention.
The Doha International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Security is a forum to discuss the use of artificial intelligence technologies in supporting security work and facing emerging challenges, reflecting Qatar’s position and role in enhancing regional and international security cooperation.
