Sharjah, United Arab Emirates:March 2026 – Arada has announced a lively programme of Eid Al Fitr celebrations taking place across its communities in Sharjah — Aljada, Masaar and Nasma Residences.
Themed around the concept of a modern cultural festival, this year’s celebrations are designed to bring communities together through a family-friendly experience that blends Arabic heritage with contemporary entertainment. Events will run on Friday 20 March and Saturday 21 March, from 6pm to 11pm across all three locations.
Families can look forward to a rich programme of activations, including face painting, balloon bending, hair braiding, bubble shows, kids’ arts and crafts, traditional live cooking and roaming parades featuring giant mascots. Cultural highlights include Tanoura dance performances and DJ sets, creating a joyful atmosphere for guests of all ages.
At Aljada, the celebrations will be further elevated with a series of special live performances at the skate park, featuring roller skater shows on both evenings, a performance by Cassette Band on the first night, and a performance by singer and songwriter Zeina Aftimos taking to the stage on the second night. Aljada will also host a dedicated Eid Market from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 March, featuring colourful market kiosks and stalls offering a curated selection of Arada’s own food and beverage options and retail products in a festive open-air setting.
All three communities will also host a Manbat Market from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 March, offering residents and visitors a selection of UAE food brands, fresh produce and Emirati farmers’ goods in a vibrant festive setting. The market runs from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 March at Aljada, and on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March at Masaar and Nasma Residences.
At Masaar, the UAE’s first forested community, the festivities will be complemented by an inflatables play area alongside the full entertainment programme, offering younger visitors an immersive outdoor experience within the community’s distinctive natural surroundings.
At Nasma Residences, celebrations will be hosted at Nasma Central, where residents and visitors can enjoy the full programme of activations alongside the community’s range of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Visitors looking to make the most of the Eid break can also book a stay at Aljada’s Nest Hotel, with packages starting from AED235 per night. Guests can enjoy a range of included experiences, among them a trampolining session at Bounce, complimentary Yalla e-bikes or e-scooters to explore over 100 restaurants, retail, sports and entertainment venues at Aljada, a tree-planting experience at Shajar Nursery, and dining discounts at Kashtat Amina. Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer – Hospitality and Entertainment, Arada, said: “As we celebrate Eid Al Fitr across our communities, we want families and visitors to find in Aljada, Masaar and Nasma Residences a place where they can come together and enjoy these special days. This follows a truly special Ramadan season — one where the atmosphere across all three communities, from the lighting on our streets to the warmth of Alsimrah Ramadan tent, reminded us of what we set out to build. We’re working closely with local authorities to ensure a secure and seamless experience for all our guests.”
This year’s Eid celebrations follow a warm Ramadan season at Aljada, where East Boulevard — home to over 100 retail outlets — drew record evening crowds, while Alsimrah, Sharjah’s largest Ramadan tent, returned for its second consecutive year to deliver premium Iftar and Suhoor experiences that brought families and guests together.
