Celebrate UAE National Day with show-stopping live performances at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall

Incredible entertainment, fantastic prizes and fun for all the family to honor 45 years of the UAE

Abu Dhabi, UAE: December 2nd, 2016 marks the 45th UAE National Day, and to celebrate the occasion, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall is pulling out all the stops! The popular mall located at Baniyas, has planned a fun-filled six-day program of live shows, family activities and exciting prize draws. Running from November 29th to December 4th, shoppers are invited to get a taste of traditional Emirati culture, marvel at an array of incredible performances and try their luck at the raffle draw taking place on December 11th to win a Nissan Patrol car.

Each evening from November 29th to December 4th, while visiting the Mall, make sure to pass by the UAE majlis tents for a cup of authentic Arabic coffee or some intricate henna art. Don’t miss the traditional Ayallah and Yola dance performances taking place from November 29th to December 4th starting from 6pm till 10pm each evening, with extra special performances on National Day. The shows include poetry, music and offer a unique insight into Emirati culture and history.

Be enthralled by the talented action painter, who will be bringing artworks to life on huge canvases in front of the gathered crowds, with shows starting around 6pm to 10pm on November 29th, December 1st to 3rd. Around the mall, there will also be dramatic roaming performances, complete with drummers and stilt-walkers adorned in the UAE’s national colors.

There’s something for all ages at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall this National Day, where younger shoppers will love the kids’ activity zone. Running from 5pm to 10pm for six consecutive days from November 29th till December 4th, the fun, hands-on activities and crafts are themed around the UAE, including sand art, flag coloring, UAE-flag themed origami, headband making, beads, accessories crafts and face painting.

Shoppers at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall during the 2016 National Day celebrations will also get a chance to enter the grand prize raffle for a Nissan Patrol car. To enter the draw, simply spend a minimum of AED 250 in any of the mall’s retail stores, or AED 600 in Carrefour hypermarket from November 24th to December 11th. Take your receipts to our customer service counter and redeem them for a raffle ticket.
