Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 5 August 2026 – Cohesity, the leader in AI-powered data security, today announced the appointment of Hassan Aoun as Senior Channel Director, International Emerging Region, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in partner-led growth across high-potential markets.
In his new role, Aoun will lead the transformation of Cohesity’s channel business across the International Emerging Region, with responsibility for accelerating new customer acquisition through partners, expanding the company’s cybersecurity ecosystem, developing high-performing channel teams, and establishing a scalable framework to drive sustainable partner-led growth.
The appointment reflects Cohesity’s continued investment in its channel ecosystem as organisations across emerging markets strengthen their cyber resilience strategies in response to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and the growing importance of securing critical data across hybrid and cloud environments. As customers increasingly look to trusted partners to modernise their data security strategies, accelerate recovery, and adopt AI securely, Cohesity continues to strengthen its partner-first approach to deliver greater value across the region.

Aoun joins Cohesity with more than 23 years of experience building and transforming partner ecosystems across emerging markets. Prior to joining the company, he spent nearly a decade at Autodesk in progressive channel leadership roles, including Regional Channel Manager, Head of Africa Territory Sales, and Global Ecosystem Expansion Lead. Prior to Autodesk, Aoun held senior commercial and channel leadership positions at Sandvine, Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, and Microsoft, where he led partner strategies, go-to-market transformation initiatives, and channel development programmes across the Middle East, Africa, CIS, and other international markets.
