Speaking at the occasion of the Refugee Advocacy and Support event organized by the Big Heart Foundation, he conveyed his deepest appreciation and congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, for their philanthropic activities, which have touched thousands of marginalized individuals, including refugees, over the years. He congratulated Talent Beyond Boundaries for winning the 7th edition of the Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and Support and lauded The Big Heart Foundation’s efforts in supporting refugees.
“Aster Volunteers, the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, works closely with the Big Heart Foundation on various projects and has established a partnership with them. The latest effort of Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Services (AVMMS) in Lebanon aims to serve people in need there. In a successful collaboration, we have also established mobile medical services in Iraq, Somaliland, Ethiopia, and Sudan, improving access to much-needed primary care and sending medical personnel to the refugee camps in Azraq, Zaatari, and Erbid in Jordan, in collaboration with the UNHCR.”
