The Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Qualifier in Dubai marks the first time an ANGT Qualifier is hosted in the Middle East, outside of continental Europe, highlighting Dubai’s growing prominence in the global basketball sports arena. With Falcons Academy hosting the event, Coca-Cola Arena was alive with boundless energy and local pride.
As one of the world’s most prestigious youth tournaments, ANGT Dubai garnered widespread attention, with over 900 attendees who enjoyed the thrilling atmosphere and high-level competition. Adding to the excitement, the tournament featured a captivating 3-point shootout and slam dunk contest. The tournament was made possible by the unwavering support of sponsors such as DMCC, La Gazzetta dela Sport, Phoenix Capital, Nirvana Tourism, MARCA, and the longstanding partnership with adidas spanning over a decade.
The tournament also received significant support from the Dubai Sports Council, the UAE Basketball Association, Dubai Holding and Coca-Cola Arena, highlighting the strong partnership between the basketball community and local authorities.
ANGT Dubai was a resounding success, showcasing the best of youth basketball and cementing Dubai’s position on the international basketball stage.
