ENOC contributes AED 5 million to MBRGI’s Edge of Life campaign to combat child hunger

Dubai, UAE;March 2026: In response to the ‘11.5: Edge of Life’ campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ENOC Group, a leading integrated global energy player, has announced a contribution of AED 5 million to the ‘11.5: Edge of Life’ campaign, launched under the umbrella of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). The campaign aims to save 5 million children from hunger across the world’s most disadvantaged communities.

The ‘11.5: Edge of Life’ campaign takes its name from the critical mid-upper arm circumference measurement of 11.5 centimetres – the threshold at which a child is considered severely malnourished. In partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Food Programme (WFP), UNICEF, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and Save the Children, the campaign mobilises resources to provide life-saving nutritional support to children in crisis-affected regions across Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Commenting on ENOC’s contribution, Hussain Sultan Lootah, CEO of ENOC Group, said: “Guided by the UAE’s values of compassion and giving, ENOC Group is proud to contribute AED 5 million to deliver value and support the communities we serve during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This contribution builds upon ENOC Group’s broader commitment to social investment and the UAE’s vision of building inclusive, resilient communities. It further cements the Group’s role as a responsible corporate citizen dedicated to creating sustainable impact.

The ‘11.5: Edge of Life’ campaign is the latest in a series of annual Ramadan humanitarian campaigns spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It follows successful initiatives including the 1 Billion Meals campaign, 100 Million Meals, Mothers’ Endowment and Fathers’ Endowment.
