Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May, 2026: FIX Dessert Chocolatier, the home-grown brand behind ‘The Original Dubai Chocolate,’ is bringing the sweetness of the UAE to life through an immersive art installation at Kite Beach on 9th and 10th May. In partnership with Careem, the digital activation invites residents to write their messages of kindness, unity, and positivity – which will be curated and translated into artwork forming a limited-edition FIX Hero Box later this year.
At the heart of the experience is a giant, interactive FIX Hero Box where words of gratitude and kindness come to life. Visitors step into the role of Chief Packaging Designer by adding their message to a digital word cloud using one of FIX’s provided tablets.
Better yet? FIX is bringing together some of the UAE’s favourite home-grown brands in solidarity with the local community. All participants will receive a goodie bag filled with products and vouchers from local brands including Careem, Humantra, Parker’s, BRED, Karen Wazen, Salt, Bake My Day, Public, Somewhere, Kumo, Shalwa, The Reborn Society, The Scent Library, Polished, House of Habanero, and Fracs. Not to mention, a few FIX surprises along the way.
Sarah Hamouda, Co-Founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier, stated: “Some of the most meaningful moments are often the smallest ones: a handwritten note or a simple ‘thinking of you’ message. That is really what inspired this initiative. We wanted to create a space where people could pause, share a few words, and feel part of something bigger.
“The UAE has always been a place where homegrown ideas, stories, and businesses are given room to grow, and that is something we never take for granted. Through this initiative, we’ll bring together incredible homegrown brands and celebrate the people, passion, and hard work behind them.
“With ‘Messages from the UAE’, we hope to create something warm, human, and lasting. The messages shared through this installation at Kite Beach will live on through our future FIX Hero Box, becoming a small reminder of the connections, kindness, and community spirit that make the UAE feel like home,” concludes Sarah.
The ‘Messages from the UAE’ will be updated in real time across both days, turning the voices of the community into a living piece of art at Kite Beach – which was recently recognised as Dubai’s Leading Beach Destination, where people come together to move, meet, eat, unwind and connect by the sea.
Between 4pm – 12am on Saturday and Sunday, the installation demonstrates the beating heart of the community and the diverse voices that make up Dubai. These words of gratitude shared at Kite Beach will later form a limited-edition FIX Hero Box, to be sold through Careem and at DXB Airport.
Don’t miss out. This one-time-only installation opens to the public on Saturday, 9 May at 4pm.
