Some celebrations are best remembered not for their scale, but for the joy they bring. In honour of UAE Union Pledge Day, fnp.ae partnered with Senses Center, a Dubai-based centre dedicated to empowering children and young adults with special needs through education, therapy and life skills development, to host a special floral arrangement workshop in Umm Suqeim. The initiative created an afternoon centred around creativity, inclusion and community, using flowers as a meaningful way to celebrate the values of unity and belonging that define the UAE.
Held on Friday, July 17th, the interactive workshop gave participants the opportunity to explore the art of floral design under the guidance of a professional florist from fnp.ae. Using flowers inspired by the colours of the UAE flag, red, green, white and black, they created their own unique arrangements while learning about colour, texture and composition in a fun, supportive environment.
For many participants, it was their first experience creating a floral arrangement from start to finish. As each bouquet came together, so did a growing sense of confidence, accomplishment and pride. Inspired by the values of UAE Union Pledge Day, the floral creations became symbols of unity, belonging and togetherness. The activity offered participants a memorable way to connect with the occasion while celebrating individuality through creativity.
The workshop was filled with smiles, laughter and moments of shared achievement as participants proudly showcased their finished arrangements and encouraged one another along the way. The event reflected fnp.ae’s continued commitment to creating meaningful experiences that strengthen community connections and make celebrations more inclusive.
