This Ramadan, Gulf for Good is proud to announce the launch of its “Gift of Giving” social media campaign in support of a foundation that aims to empower 180 Pakistani students in a rural village in Nowshera. Gulf for Good is inviting everyone to participate in its social media campaign that will run throughout Ramadan to donate and nominate friends and family members to do the same.

“We believe that now, more than ever, it is important to inspire acts of generosity and kindness, and so we are asking our benefactors to donate as well as nominate their loved ones to participate in this spirit of giving by making donations in support of The Citizens Foundation,” said Kat Kearsey, Chairwoman of Gulf for Good in the UAE.

To participate, social media users can nominate any number of people while tagging the charity organization in a social media post using hashtags #GiftOfGiving, #RamadanWithGulfForGood, and #GiveTheGiftOfGiving, and use campaign assets that resemble an envelope or gift card. Nominees can easily make their contributions through Gulf for Good’s YallaGive donation page.

The Citizens Foundation Overview:

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is an organisation that aims to empower citizens of Pakistan to become agents of positive change by providing quality education that fosters moral, spiritual, and intellectual enlightenment. Addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals such as No Poverty, Quality Education, and Gender Equality, the foundation aims to impact the lives of students in rural villages. Furthermore, it seeks to support employment and development opportunities for nine female faculty members. TCF envisions cultivating well-rounded individuals capable of lifting themselves and their communities out of poverty.

Gulf for Good has been requested to support TCF Primary School Ghulam Faruque Campus in Nowshera for the school year 2023-2024, benefiting students, faculty, and the broader community. The project primarily focuses on implementing a research-based early years program that develops 21st-century skills through play-based learning. The funding will cover faculty salaries, school supplies, and administrative costs.
