His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Finance, said: “Zayed Humanitarian Day represents the authentic values upon which the UAE was founded. It carries the name of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It draws inspiration from his approach, embodying the values of kindness, generosity, and the dedication of efforts for the betterment of humanity everywhere, to best represent his life and journey.”
He added: “In marking Zayed Humanitarian Day, we value the blessed journey of our wise leadership in instilling the spirit of giving and solidarity in our society and extending it to the whole world. We also value the commitment to enhancing human values and international cooperation to spread goodness and achieve sustainable development for all.”
His Excellency concluded: “On this day, we recall the UAE’s achievements in humanitarian work and express our gratitude for all the efforts made by government and private entities, individuals, and institutions to realise these noble goals.”
