A Tribute to Arabic Culture at Theatre of Digital Art:
Prepare to embark on a mesmerising journey through the enchanting tales of ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ at the Theatre of Digital Art. Set for December 17 at 20:00. This unique experience promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Arabic culture on World International Arabic Language Day.
To honour the day the United Nations officially recognized Arabic as its sixth official language, the Theatre of Digital Art is proud to present a multimedia extravaganza that combines captivating narration, evocative piano tunes, and stunning 360° art to breathe new life into the legendary stories of Scheherazade.
The highlight of the evening will be a a piano performance of Rimsky Korsakov’s ‘Scheherazade’ by Sanaz Sotoudeh, who has graced recitals on stages across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
Adding a unique visual dimension to the performance is Diaa Allam, the UAE-based Arabic calligraphy star known for his 3D, flat, and motion calligraphy. Allam’s art serves as a visual bridge from the past to the present, beautifully complementing the timeless narratives of ‘One Thousand and One Nights.’
The immersive 360° experience will transport the audience into the heart of these cherished tales, with Arabic scripts surrounding the audience and creating a seamless connection between the ancient stories and contemporary artistry. The show aims to honour the rich tapestry of Arabic culture, inviting attendees to explore the values of excellence, kindness, hard work, generosity, and growth through the medium of digital art.
