Audit, Tax and Advisory firm, KPMG in Bahrain, recently received a formal appreciation and the first membership award from Toastmasters International. KPMG Bahrain Toastmasters Club was inaugurated in November 2021 to provide a positive learning experience for staff to develop their communication and leadership skills in a supportive and constructive learning environment. Today, this club is considered the largest of its kind in the in Bahrain, with a total of 78 members.
This milestone was announced by District 20 Club Growth Director in January 2022. KPMG in Bahrain’s Learning and Development Associate Director and Head of the firm’s Toastmasters Club, Asit Pathak, commented on the achievement “We believe that every employee at KPMG is a leader, and this award is a testimony of the capabilities and potential of our young employees, who act as the office bearers of the club. KPMG is renowned as a learning organization, and this award is also a reflection of our commitment towards the development of our people.”
