As part of KPMG’s ongoing commitment to the local community, the firm has provided a tech-based donation by providing a batch of laptops to the Al Eker Charity organization.
The Head of Corporate Social Responsibility committee at KPMG in Bahrain, Saeed Radhi, commented on the donation and said: “Providing the tools and resources for the future generation of young leaders to grow is a key part of our community work and our ongoing commitment to nurture the young Bahraini talent. In the post pandemic era that we currently live in, it is important for students to have the necessary devices in case they need to study and work from home.”
The Al Eker Charity organization is established to serve the people of Al Eker and other surrounding areas to help and support the people of that area with the environmental, educational, and social activities that will develop the youth in the community. The charity is supported by the Ministry of Social Development and is currently only being run by the support of volunteers.
