LG ELECTRONICS SHOWCASES NEXT EVOLUTION OF AI HOME AND EXPANDED HOME APPLIANCE ECOSYSTEM AT IFA 2026

Introducing ThinQ Claw and expanded AI Home experiences alongside connected solutions and innovations designed for modern lifestyles

Dubai, Sep, 2026 — LG Electronics LG is showcasing the next evolution of its AI Home at IFA 2026 in Berlin, bringing together contextual intelligence, connected experiences and an expanded home appliance ecosystem under the theme “Innovation in tune with you.” Through its latest AI-powered technologies and solutions, LG is demonstrating how AI can understand customers’ lifestyles and connect appliances, spaces and services to deliver more personalized and intuitive experiences across everyday life.

At LG’s booth, visitors can explore the LG AI Home centered around the LG ThinQ™ ON AI home hub and LG ThinQ platform, alongside the expanded Fit & Max Solution, immersive media entertainment experiences and a premium lifestyle space dedicated to the LG SIGNATURE lineup. LG is also operating a private business partner consultation space, strengthening engagement with retailers and business customers and showcasing opportunities for connected solutions across commercial and shared spaces.

The UAE’s highly connected digital landscape is creating new opportunities for more intelligent home experiences, with 99% of the population using the internet and consumers increasingly engaging with AI-powered technologies. This growing digital readiness is helping pave the way for more connected, personalized and intuitive experiences in the home, as LG continues to bring AI deeper into everyday living.

LG AI Orchestra and the Connected AI Ecosystem:

Greeting visitors at the booth entrance, the LG AI Orchestra unfolds across a 16-by-4-meter kinetic LED installation, where LG CLOiD™ serves as conductor of a connected AI ecosystem that brings together appliances, spaces and services.

The AI Orchestra demonstrates how LG’s diverse products and technologies — spanning home appliances, TVs, HVAC and robotics — can work in harmony to create a more connected AI Home experience. The installation embodies LG’s vision for the Zero Labor Home, which aims to reduce household chores and give customers more time for the things that matter.

AI Home Tailored to Everyday Life:

At the AI Home Zone, LG is demonstrating how the next-generation LG ThinQ ON AI home hub and LG ThinQ platform connect appliances, spaces and services into a single, cohesive system.

Through contextual intelligence, LG AI Home can understand factors including users’ schedules, routines, home environments and appliance usage to recommend relevant actions and coordinate connected devices and services. Authentic home environments at the booth allow visitors to experience how LG’s AI technologies can respond to different household situations and provide personalized support based on individual preferences and daily routines.

ThinQ Claw: Extending AI Home Through Chat and Contextual Intelligence

Making its public debut at IFA 2026, ThinQ Claw is a new text-chat-based AI agent integrated with ThinQ ON. Built on the concept of OpenClaw and optimized for LG AI Home, ThinQ Claw understands user intent and context to help connect and coordinate relevant services and devices.

Rather than treating individual requests as isolated events, ThinQ Claw interprets information within the context of users’ lives. For example, it can help manage cooking appliances when preparing to host guests, monitor indoor air quality and temperature before a user arrives home, or suggest tailored experiences for entertainment and relaxation.

ThinQ Claw also works collaboratively with everyday services such as calendars and other connected services. Users can share their plans or current status through a natural chat interface without having to create complex automation rules. By remembering customers’ likes and dislikes, ThinQ Claw can provide increasingly personalized support over time.

An Expanded AI Home Ecosystem:

LG is extending its AI Home vision beyond individual appliances through an open and connected ecosystem powered by Homey, the smart home platform developed by Athom, which LG acquired in 2024.

With broad interoperability across brands, connected devices and service providers, Homey enables users to manage different products through a single platform. At IFA, LG is demonstrating a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) powered by Homey, showing how smart meters, solar panels, home batteries, EV chargers and LG appliances can be connected and coordinated as part of a unified home ecosystem.

IFA 2026 also marks the European debut of LG ThinQ Pro, an integrated B2B management solution designed for multi-family residential and commercial environments. ThinQ Pro enables centralized management of appliances and HVAC systems, demonstrating how LG’s AI Home vision can extend beyond private residences into shared and professional spaces.

Applied across the AI Home ecosystem, LG Shield helps protect connected appliances, services and customer data, supporting safe and secure AI experiences.

Fit & Max Solution Optimized for Modern Living Spaces:

Alongside its AI Home innovations, LG is showcasing its expanded Fit & Max Solution, which combines built-in-style aesthetics with practical functionality and large capacities.

Originally applied to select LG refrigerator models, the Fit & Max design now spans washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. The solution is designed to maximize available space while maintaining generous capacities, with appliances that integrate seamlessly into modern living environments.

Visitors can also see new Fit & Max dishwashers, including models capable of completing a full wash and dry cycle in only one hour.

Delivering Immersive Experiences Across the Home:

LG’s IFA showcase extends beyond home appliances to demonstrate how connected technology can shape entertainment and lifestyle experiences.

The Media Entertainment Zone features a premium media gallery concept centered around LG’s latest display technologies. At the heart of the exhibit is the Wallpaper OLED TV With True Wireless, also known as the LG OLED W6, alongside the 2026 LG OLED evo AI and Micro RGB evo AI powered by the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3.

LG is also showcasing its latest lifestyle and entertainment solutions, including the UltraGear gaming monitor, StanbyME 2 Max and Sound Suite, creating a connected entertainment experience across different spaces in the home.

The LG SIGNATURE Zone presents the brand’s ultra-premium lifestyle lineup, combining sophisticated design with advanced AI technology. The LG SIGNATURE refrigerator features AI voice recognition that understands conversational language and can recommend appropriate refrigeration modes for different food items. The LG SIGNATURE 30-inch wall oven combines an internal AI camera with AI Gourmet™ to recognize different dishes and suggest an optimal cooking mode.

“At IFA 2026, we are showcasing how our expanded AI Home ecosystem can seamlessly connect AI appliances, home hubs and intelligent services to provide exceptionally convenient and personalized customer experiences,” said Baek Seung-tae, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “With differentiated products and solutions tailored to different lifestyles and living environments, we will continue to strengthen our leadership in the global premium home appliance market.”

Visitors to IFA 2026 can experience LG’s expanded AI Home ecosystem, Fit & Max Solution, premium media entertainment and lifestyle experiences at the company’s booth in Hall 18 at Messe Berlin from September 4–8, 2026.
