Keeping in tip top shape

Earlier this month, Nour Arjaan by Rotana took its colleagues health and wellness into its own hands and organized a free medical checkup at the property. “This is an annual event which allows our colleagues to get a glimpse into their overall health. We are always happy to get as many colleagues involved as possible and make a point of highlighting the benefits of not only keeping them safe but also healthy and happy,” says Hotel Manager Mr. Ghyath Fawaz.

Representatives from Thumbay Hospital Fujairah assisted us in coming to the property fully equipped to give our colleagues an overall check-up. Preparations started early in the morning with our Learning and Development and HR teams helping the hospital reps set up and while also assisting in registering each of our colleagues to ensure smooth running throughout the day.

One by one colleague’s came to get checked and each were fortunate enough to go through a selection of tests to get an overall understanding of their help and could ask any questions to the medical team. Colleagues did a blood sugar strip test, blood pressure monitoring test, weight and height examination (BMI) by paramedical staffs and an overall general checkup was conducted.
