Muscat, 27 July 2025 – Reinforcing its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment, Oman Arab Bank launched the “Junior Banker” program: an innovative educational initiative designed for students from Al-Ula School. The program offered them a real-world banking experience that blended hands-on learning, skill-building, and confidence development.

Throughout the program, the bank’s headquarters opened its doors to a group of outstanding students who were given a behind-the-scenes look at the banking world. They rotated across departments, took part in real tasks and interactive workshops, and explored customer service fundamentals, financial concepts, and teamwork techniques in an inspiring, professional environment.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Sulaiman Al Harthi, CEO of Oman Arab Bank, said:
“At Oman Arab Bank, we believe that investing in youth is investing in our nation’s future. Through this initiative, we are not just offering banking training—we are unlocking ambition and enabling participants to see themselves as future leaders equipped with knowledge and confidence to shape their own paths.”

The program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and the demands of the job market, encouraging critical thinking, a strong work ethic, and personal accountability, core values that lead to long-term success.

The initiative concluded with a heartfelt ceremony celebrating the students’ efforts and achievements, filled with moments of pride and inspiration. Participants left with real insights, a stronger passion for learning, and a clearer vision of their potential.

“Junior Banker” is more than just a program—it’s a true educational journey that makes a difference. It reflects Oman Arab Bank’s vision to help build a more informed society, a sustainable economy, and a nation led by empowered youth.
