LAHORE: Pakistan made its mark on the global stage at The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive 2026, as Lahore joined more than 200 cities worldwide for the annual classic motoring initiative supporting men’s health — with the city’s drive also achieving a notable international fundraising milestone.
Shoaib Qureshy, Founder of Antique Cars Museum and host and lead organiser of the Lahore Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive, ranked among the Top 10 fundraisers globally, from more than 6,000 participants across 200+ cities worldwide.
The achievement marked a proud moment for Pakistan and added greater significance to Lahore’s participation in the international initiative, which brings together classic car enthusiasts around the world to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programmes through Movember.
Held on September 27, the Lahore edition brought together owners of classic cars aged 40 years and older, along with their families and fellow motoring enthusiasts. Participants dressed in the event’s signature distinguished style, combining automotive heritage and elegant fashion in support of an important global cause.
The drive began from the picturesque lakeside setting of Aristopolo in DHA Phase 8, featuring an impressive collection of beautifully maintained vintage and classic automobiles. It was among the largest classic car drives witnessed in Lahore, reflecting the city’s growing community of collectors and automotive heritage enthusiasts.
Speaking on the occasion, Qureshy said: “We are delighted to see Lahore and Pakistan proudly represented alongside cities around the world in this important global initiative. Being among the leading fundraisers makes this achievement even more meaningful, but the credit belongs to everyone who participated, donated and supported the Lahore campaign.”
He expressed his appreciation to the classic car owners, participants, donors and supporters whose contributions helped Lahore make an impact on the global fundraising campaign.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive demonstrates how a shared passion for classic automobiles can bring communities together while encouraging important conversations around men’s physical and mental wellbeing.
For Lahore, the 2026 edition went a step further — placing Pakistan among the leading fundraising participants on a global platform while showcasing the country’s classic motoring community to an international audience.
