PREMIUM JUST GOT MORE POWERFUL: SHELL OMAN EXPANDS ITS FUEL PORTFOLIO WITH THE LAUNCH OF SHELL V-POWER RACING 98

Muscat, 12 March, 2026 – Shell Oman Marketing Company (Shell Oman) recently announced the launch of Shell V-Power Racing 98 in the Sultanate of Oman, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of its premium fuels portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to delivering advanced mobility solutions to customers across the country.

Shell V-Power Racing 98 is a premium high-performance fuel with a Research Octane Number of 98, designed to deliver instant power unleashed with every fill. Developed using Shell’s global expertise in fuels innovation and inspired by decades of motorsport heritage, the product is formulated to help modern engines operate closer to their full potential while enhancing responsiveness and acceleration in octane responsive vehicles.

The new fuel is now available at the Shell Service Station in Ghubra and will soon be rolled out across other stations. The introduction reflects Shell Oman’s ambition to expand its advanced fuels offering in line with evolving customer expectations and the increasing demand for premium performance products in the market.

Shell V-Power Racing 98 combines Shell’s exclusive advanced cleaning technology, designed to clean critical engine parts by up to 100% and rejuvenate engine performance. In addition to its cleaning capability, the higher-octane formulation is more resistant to engine knock, a phenomenon that can lead to reduced performance and drivability. By enabling engines equipped with knock sensors to operate more frequently at optimal manufacturer settings, Shell V-Power Racing 98 helps unlock improved performance and smoother acceleration, depending on engine design and operating conditions.

Commenting on the launch, Suresh Nair, General Manager – Mobility, Shell Oman Marketing, said, “The launch of Shell V-Power Racing 98 represents a major milestone for Shell Oman and a significant step forward in strengthening our premium fuels portfolio. We are proud to introduce one of our most advanced performance fuels to the Omani market, bringing cutting-edge technology inspired by Shell’s global motorsport heritage directly to our customers. This launch underscores our commitment to innovation and quality while delivering the best of what we have to offer for our customers. Shell V-Power Racing 98 is engineered to meet the evolving requirements of modern engines, enhance driving dynamics and elevate the overall customer experience, further reinforcing Shell Oman’s position as a leader in advanced mobility solutions.”

This launch marked the historic first of Shell V-Power Racing formulation being available to customers in the Middle East region.

Speaking at the launch event, Min Yih Tan, Senior Vice President Mobility & Convenience Asia, added, “The introduction of Shell V-Power Racing 98 in Oman reflects our continued commitment to bringing advanced fuel technology to key growth markets across Asia. Oman plays an important role in our regional portfolio and this launch demonstrates how we harness Shell’s world-class innovation capabilities to deliver differentiated, high-performance mobility solutions tailored to local market needs. As customer expectations evolve and demand for premium products continues to grow, we remain focused on delivering what our customers demand. Shell V-Power Racing 98 embodies our technology leadership, supports modern engine requirements and reinforces our ambition to provide world-class products that enhance both performance and driving experience for our customers in Asia.”

Shell V-Power remains a trusted premium fuel for everyday performance, while Shell V-Power Racing 98 offers an additional higher-octane choice for drivers seeking maximum performance capability. Customers are encouraged to check their vehicle manufacturer’s minimum RON requirement to select the fuel best suited to their engine specifications.

With the introduction of Shell V-Power Racing 98, Shell Oman continues to invest in innovation that supports modern mobility needs, empowering drivers to feel the difference with every journey and experience a new level of performance on Oman’s roads.

All forward-looking statements contained in this press release are expressly qualified in their entirety by the cautionary statements contained or referred to in this section. Readers should not place undue reliance on forward-looking statements. Additional risk factors that may affect future results are contained in Shell plc’s Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2022 (available at www.shell.com/investors/news-and-filings/sec-filings.html and www.sec.gov). These risk factors also expressly qualify all forward-looking statements contained in this press release and should be considered by the reader. Each forward-looking statement speaks only as of the date of this press release, XX March, 2026. Neither Shell plc nor any of its subsidiaries undertake any obligation to publicly update or revise any forward-looking statement as a result of new information, future events or other information. Shell’s Net Carbon Intensity

Also, in this press release, we may refer to Shell’s “Net Carbon Intensity”, which includes Shell’s carbon emissions from the production of our energy products, our suppliers’ carbon emissions in supplying energy for that production and our customers’ carbon emissions associated with their use of the energy products we sell. Shell only controls its own emissions. The use of the term Shell’s “Net Carbon Intensity” is for convenience only and not intended to suggest these emissions are those of Shell plc or its subsidiaries.

Shell’s net-zero emissions target

Shell’s operating plan, outlook and budgets are forecasted for a ten-year period and are updated every year. They reflect the current economic environment and what we can reasonably expect to see over the next ten years. Accordingly, they reflect our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Net Carbon Intensity (NCI) targets over the next ten years. However, Shell’s operating plans cannot reflect our 2050 net-zero emissions target and 2035 NCI target, as these targets are currently outside our planning period. In the future, as society moves towards net-zero emissions, we expect Shell’s operating plans to reflect this movement. However, if society is not net zero in 2050, as of today, there would be significant risk that Shell may not meet this target.

Shell expects to publish its 2024 Energy Transition Strategy on March 14, 2024, which will include an update on Shell’s energy transition strategy and set out Shell’s climate targets and ambitions for the future.

Forward-Looking non-GAAP measures

This press release may contain certain forward-looking non-GAAP measures such as [cash capital expenditure] and [divestments]. We are unable to provide a reconciliation of these forward-looking non-GAAP measures to the most comparable GAAP financial measures because certain information needed to reconcile those Non-GAAP measures to the most comparable GAAP financial measures is dependent on future events some of which are outside the control of Shell, such as oil and gas prices, interest rates and exchange rates. Moreover, estimating such GAAP measures with the required precision necessary to provide a meaningful reconciliation is extremely difficult and could not be accomplished without unreasonable effort. Non-GAAP measures in respect of future periods which cannot be reconciled to the most comparable GAAP financial measure are calculated in a manner which is consistent with the accounting policies applied in Shell plc’s consolidated financial statements.
