Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 2026 – Registrations are now open for the iconic Dubai Ride, presented by DP World – giving riders the chance to cycle through the heart of the city as part of this year’s milestone 10th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) and experience one of the world’s most remarkable cycling routes.

On 1 November 2026, the region’s largest community cycling event will lead DFC’s opening weekend, kicking off a month of fitness and fun across Dubai. Now in its seventh edition, the first of four flagship events will bring together thousands of cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride through the city’s streets and past iconic landmarks including the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera, as Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai transform into cycling routes for the morning.

As one of the most-loved flagship events on the DFC calendar, Dubai Ride is more than just a cycling event – it’s a celebration of togetherness and a chance for participants to achieve their 30×30 goals, building on the record-breaking 40,000 cyclists who took part in the last year’s edition.

Participants are invited to discover ‘What’s Your 30×30?’, with routes welcoming all cycling enthusiasts, including riders of determination and varying abilities. Riders can take on the scenic 12km route along Sheikh Zayed Road or enjoy the family-friendly 4km loop through Downtown Dubai. A specially supported entry point will also be available for People of Determination using handcycles, tandem bikes and adapted bicycles.

Registered participants can collect their Dubai Ride bib and T-shirt from Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village Zabeel Park, Gate 2, from 28 to 31 October.

His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, affirmed that this unique event represents an exceptional spectacle reflecting the culture of positivity and vitality that characterizes Dubai.

“Transforming Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai’s most prominent artery, into an open sports track for cycling enthusiasts translates a unique vision that makes Dubai a city that is friendly to athletes and to sport. As this challenge reaches its tenth year, we are proud of the steady growing community engagement, which confirms the success of the Dubai Sports Council’s strategy in establishing physical activity as an essential part of daily life. This edition gains additional momentum as it coincides with the ‘Year of the Family 2026’, that represents an ideal opportunity for generations to come together and share unforgettable sporting moments in a safe and stimulating environment that supports our goals of building a vibrant and healthy society,” His Excellency Saeed Hareb noted.
