ROSHN Holds Supply Chain Forum, Signs Several Large MoUs with Suppliers

  • Over 400 suppliers gathered to hear about ROSHN’s approach to building local content and capacity in the Kingdom.
  • ROSHN signed several MoUs with leading architectural firms, contractors and technology suppliers to optimize project collaboration, design and delivery.

Riyadh,November 2024: ROSHN Group, the Kingdom’s leading national multi-asset class real estate developer and a PIF company, held its second Supply Chain Forum. The event gathered over 400 of ROSHN’s suppliers, who heard from ROSHN’s executives about the company’s approach to collaborate with its partners to promote local content and capacity in the Kingdom, create local jobs, and ensure resilient, adaptable supply chains that will support Saudi Arabia’s economic growth.

ROSHN’s local content approach is to engage with suppliers and collaborate with them on creating manufacturing facilities inside the Kingdom. The company has been working with a number of global suppliers to expand their operations in Saudi Arabia, from the production of sanitaryware and sanitary fixture products to the establishment of a pre-cast concrete facility on-site at SEDRA. By bringing production to the Kingdom, ROSHN’s supply chains will become more sustainable.

During the Supply Chain Forum, ROSHN signed MoUs with VIMAR for smart home technologies, AE7 for architectural, engineering, and consultancy services, Foshan Homonisia wood works and products, China Foshan Desilesi Home Technology, Guangdong SUNCOO Technology, Guangdong Hegeying Construction Engineering, and Ledman Optoelectronic to localize building material productions. ROSHN also signed an MoU with Bton International to explore establishing a strategic partnership relating to using sustainable low-carbon concrete solutions for construction projects.

“We want to bring our suppliers to the Kingdom and show them the opportunities that there are here to establish facilities and manufacturing,” said Iain McBride, Executive Director Commercial, ROSHN Group. “ROSHN’s Supply Chain Forum brought together several hundred of our partners to showcase how we can do more to build local capacity and explore collaborations on building capacity here. The signing of these MoUs during the event underlines our determination to contribute to the Kingdom’s economic growth and diversification through our local content strategy.”
