SEHA’s Al Rahba Hospital Reopens Outpatient Clinic Following Extensive Upgrade to Enhance Patient Experience

Opening 12 clinics in a single location, SEHA’s new state-of-the-art facilities will make the patient experience faster and smoother.

Abu Dhabi – September 2024: SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, the largest healthcare platform in the Middle East, has announced the re-opening of the outpatient clinics at Al Rahba Hospital under its dedication to community wellbeing.

The hospital’s outpatient department has undergone an extensive renovation to offer clinical facilities in line with SEHA’s commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare services. The opening of the enhanced outpatient clinic marks an important step in SEHA’s ongoing work to boost community access to healthcare in Abu Dhabi in line with the emirate’s strategy to create a world-leading healthcare system.

Saif Al Siksek, Acting Hospital Director at Al Rahba Hospital, said: “At Al Rahba Hospital, we are committed to continually investing in enhancing our patient experience for better, healthier and happier lives. With our renovated outpatient clinics: Dieticians, ENT, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation and Ophthalmology.” Al Siksek added: “We are delighted to offer communities in Abu Dhabi better, more convenient, faster access to the highest quality care in line with the emirate’s strategy for enhancing quality of life. Patient satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we are proud to offer our patients the most advanced, highest quality care available. The new clinic is ready to serve patients with care and professionalism that aligns with leading international standards and best practices.”

The clinic, conveniently located on the ground floor, offers patients a smoother, faster journey with a laboratory, radiology and pharmacy all on the same floor. Its new procedure rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology for safe, high quality in-clinic procedures.

It offers range of new services and treatments with the convenience of having 12 clinics all in one location with potential to add more clinics in the same vicinity. Patients can easily access different clinics on the same day and schedule same-day appointments for efficient healthcare delivery.

The OPD clinics are open from 8am-10pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-6pm Friday and Sunday. Walk-in appointments are welcomed and the clinic’s urgent care centre will continue working 24/7.

With its latest upgrades, the outpatient clinic at Al Rahba Hospital will be able to serve approximately 300 patients, ensuring timely and comprehensive care for the community. The reopening of the outpatient clinic follows several new clinics launched by SEHA in recent months as part of its efforts to bring care closer to the community. With one of the largest healthcare networks of hospitals and clinics in the UAE, SEHA treats more than 5 million outpatients every year.

SEHA’s commitment to community wellbeing, encapsulated in the reopening of the Al Rahba Hospital outpatient clinic, extends to various initiatives such as school programmes and community workshops. The organisation collaborates closely with local schools, organising events such as Pink Month and healthy food campaigns throughout the year. Additionally, it works with government entities to promote its services at community events and provide healthcare support.

As a PureHealth subsidiary, SEHA is committed to the continuous improvement of customer care to recognised international standards and providing the community with world-class healthcare.
