The organisers of the sixth edition of the Thailand Amusement & Attraction Parks Expo (TAAPE 2026) are counting down to the staging of the event from 29th to 31st October 2026 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok, opening a premium cross-border cooperation gateway for Middle Eastern amusement, tourism and investment enterprises.
Set to bring together global suppliers, operators, developers and investors from across the amusement, attractions and leisure industries, TAAPE 2026 is specially positioned as a key bridge connecting high-value Middle Eastern capital and industry resources with Southeast Asia’s rapidly expanding entertainment and tourism market. The exhibition is expected to gather tens of thousands of industry professionals worldwide, including numerous investors, park operators and solution providers from the Middle East, covering theme parks, waterparks, family entertainment centres (FECs), resorts and destination attractions across the two regions.
Supported by the Tourism Council of Thailand and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, TAAPE 2026 will feature exhibitors showcasing amusement rides, waterpark equipment, immersive entertainment technologies, attraction design services, FEC solutions, digital ticketing systems and other innovations shaping the visitor experience sector. As a vital overseas expansion platform for Middle Eastern leisure and tourism enterprises, the event serves as a core channel for business development, project sourcing and cross-regional partnership building. It enables Middle Eastern suppliers, operators and investors to conduct face-to-face negotiations with Southeast Asian local merchants, accurately explore high-growth investment opportunities across ASEAN markets, and lay a foundation for long-term regional layout.
The upcoming exhibition lands at a pivotal moment of booming cross-border tourism and entertainment investment. Southeast Asia continues to attract massive global capital inflows for tourism and entertainment infrastructure upgrading, while the Middle East has emerged as a major source of global leisure tourism investment in recent years, with local enterprises actively expanding overseas high-quality cultural and entertainment projects. Thailand, in particular, has identified tourism and family entertainment as strategic growth sectors, with increasing attention on theme parks, water attractions and immersive visitor experiences to consolidate its status as one of Asia’s leading tourism destinations.
Organisers highlighted that TAAPE 2026 offers tailored market access advantages for Middle Eastern businesses. Southeast Asia features robust tourism demand, rapid urbanisation, and surging consumer spending on high-quality leisure experiences, which perfectly matches the overseas investment layout needs of Middle Eastern tourism and cultural enterprises. Previous editions of TAAPE have attracted active participation from top-tier waterparks, amusement operators and family entertainment brands across Southeast Asia, including renowned local operators such as Ramayana Water Park, Vana Nava Water Jungle and Andamanda Phuket, alongside outstanding international suppliers and technology providers.
Building on the excellent market reputation and industrial resource accumulation of previous sessions, the 2026 edition will further strengthen Bangkok’s position as a regional hub for the global attractions industry. It will also create an unprecedented Southeast Asia–Middle East leisure industry docking opportunity, promoting resource complementarity and win-win cooperation between the two major emerging markets.
TAAPE 2026 will be held from 29th to 31st October 2026 at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.
