The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation announces the finalists of the new ADMAF x Dolce&Gabbana Design Award 2024

With the aim of empowering young designers within several design categories, this exclusive award will provide winners with an internship program at Dolce&Gabbana headquarter in Italy. 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Abu Dhabi Music & Art Foundation (ADMAF) and the luxury fashion brand Dolce&Gabbana are pleased to announce the finalists of the ADMAF x Dolce&Gabbana Design Award 2024, the new prize open to current and recently graduated university students from the UAE, that aims to nurture the talent of young creatives, while paying tribute to their heritage through design.

Azza Rashed Al Suwaidi, Maryam Omar Bin Ghaleb Alfalasi and Muna Saqer AlMatrooshi are the three talented designers selected for the fashion category, while Sarah AlMansoori, Muhra Darwish AlBlooshi and Alia Alzaabi stood out for their jewellery creations. The winner of each category will walk away with the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to develop and realise its finished product through a trained internship in Italy, before being showcased to the public during the Abu Dhabi Festival 2025.

Winners and finalists will be awarded by a jury featuring international outstanding personalities as Stefano Galli – Alta Moda Senior VIP relations of Dolce&Gabbana, Asma Al Fahim – Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and founder of Villa 88 magazine, Roberto La Lacona – Director of Marangoni Institute UAE alongside renowned Emirati artists Azza al Qubaisi, jewelry artist, product designer and sculptor, Ahmad Al Areef Al Dhaheri, Multidisciplinary Artist, and Sultan al Darmaki, Fashion Designer. Rounding out the group were H.E. Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo, ADMAF Founder and representatives of Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda.
