The partnership will see the introduction of VERTECO’s water saving solutions, including the Waterless Urinal, at the Emirates Dubai Rugby 7’s and other events in Abu Dhabi. The urinals, which completely eliminate the need for water in flushing, increase hygiene levels, reduce odours, and save an estimated 157,000 litres of water a year per urinal, will contribute to significant water conservation at two of the region’s most prominent events.
Choosing VERTECO as the preferred supplier of eco-friendly washroom solutions, Al Masaood Equipment Rental, a prominent player in the construction industry, aims to significantly improve the environmental impact of such large-scale events. The collaboration comes off the back of previous product trials conducted by Al Masaood Equipment Rental, during which they found VERTECO’s innovative products delivered outstanding results in water conservation.

The organisers of the Emirates Dubai Rugby 7’s and Mother of the Nation festival are committed to adopting products and best practices which will reduce their environmental burden. The introduction of such water conscious solutions will not only save water and help organisers achieve their sustainability targets, but the products will also directly enhance operational efficiencies by reducing the number of water refills and waste removal tankers required.
Looking ahead, VERTECO and Al Masaood Equipment Rental plan to extend the partnership to support more large-scale events, as well as integrating the water saving products into construction sites where long-term rentals are in effect, ultimately helping clients reduce costs and enhance their sustainability efforts.
