Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates,August 2026: On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, observed annually on 28 August, Yousef Altheeb Alketbi, Chief Executive Officer of the National Rehabilitation Center, said:
“Emirati Women’s Day is an important national occasion to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Emirati women and recognise their vital role in the UAE’s development. This year’s theme, ‘Together We Rise, Stronger and Better,’ reflects their ambition, resilience and determination, and their ability to turn challenges into opportunities for achievement and progress. Emirati women are essential partners in building a healthy, cohesive and prosperous society.
He added: “At the National Rehabilitation Center, we are proud of the vital contribution our female professionals make across every area of our work, from treatment and rehabilitation to prevention, awareness and psychological and social support. Their expertise, dedication and professionalism make a meaningful difference to the individuals and families we serve and to the wider community.
“We remain committed to creating an environment in which women can develop their capabilities, progress professionally and take on leadership roles. Empowering women is not only about advancing their careers; it is also about enabling them to make a lasting contribution to the health and wellbeing of society.
