A Gateway to West Africa

Ghana Investment & Trade Week (GITW), Africa Build Show and MEGAWATT Africa together form a powerful gateway for investment, infrastructure, construction, energy, manufacturing, technology, mobility and industrial development under one roof.

Designed around Ghana’s national growth agenda, the co-located summit and exhibitions connect global solution providers with government decision-makers, developers, investors, distributors, buyers and project owners seeking partnerships across West Africa.

One Destination, Three Platforms

Ghana Investment & Trade Week

A gateway for international trade, investment, industrial development, innovation, technology, mobility and economic partnerships. GITW connects governments, investors and businesses driving Ghana’s next phase of growth.

Africa Build Show

West Africa’s dedicated construction marketplace showcasing building technologies, materials, heavy equipment, engineering solutions and smart infrastructure for public and private developments.

MEGAWATT Africa

A regional platform for power generation, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, lighting, grid modernization and sustainable energy technologies supporting Africa’s growing energy demand.

For three days this July, The Palms Convention Center in Accra becomes the meeting point for global capital and African opportunity. Under the patronage of the Government of Ghana, GITW convenes alongside the Africa Build Show and MEGAWATT Africa  a single co-located ecosystem spanning construction, energy, trade and investment.

Exhibitors meet buyers. Ministers meet investors. Startups meet capital. And a continent’s fastest-growing economy puts its pipeline on the table.

Ghana’s GDP is projected to reach $87.6 billion at a growth rate of 5.8%, with 17% driven by construction alone.

A New Development Cycle

Ghana is entering one of its largest infrastructure and industrial development cycles, supported by long-term national master plans spanning transport, logistics, renewable energy, petroleum, digital transformation and smart urban development.

These strategic projects are creating significant opportunities for contractors, EPC companies, equipment suppliers, manufacturers, technology providers, investors and infrastructure developers.

Key Development Programmes

integrated regional development and sustainable urban expansion around one of Africa’s largest reservoirs.

Ghana Railway Master Plan — expansion of national rail corridors connecting ports, mining regions and industrial zones.

National Petroleum Hub — a multi-billion-dollar integrated petroleum and industrial development project strengthening Ghana’s energy sector.

Renewable Energy & Power Master Plans — long-term programmes focused on renewable generation, transmission, grid resilience and energy security.

Smart Cities & Digital Ghana — digital infrastructure, smart urban planning, AI-enabled public services and next-generation government transformation.

As China’s principal authority for international trade and foreign investment, MOFCOM’s presence strengthens government-to-government dialogue while creating new opportunities for China–Ghana–Africa commercial cooperation across manufacturing, infrastructure, investment and industrial partnerships.

Built Around Business Outcomes

  • Exhibition & Conference
  • VIP Buyers Club
  • B2B Matchmaking
  • CEO Roundtables
  • Industry Awards & Dinner

Supported by conference networking, VIP meetings and hosted buyer programmes, participants gain multiple opportunities to build partnerships throughout the three-day event.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Opportunities

Beyond networking, GITW provides an ideal environment for strategic announcements and partnership signings. Several participating organizations are expected to formalize collaborations during the event across construction, energy, manufacturing, investment, technology transfer, distribution, market entry and industrial development — reinforcing GITW’s role as a platform where business relationships become long-term partnerships.

A Qualified Audience

The three platforms attract a highly qualified audience of government ministries, investment authorities, infrastructure developers, EPC contractors, engineers, consultants, energy companies, utility providers, property developers, manufacturers, procurement teams, international trade delegations, investors, distributors, free zone authorities and technology companies.
