CAIRO, EGYPT July 2026 – Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, and Trust Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company, a leading Egyptian real estate developer with an extensive residential portfolio and land bank, announce the signing of ibis North Coast Sidi Kerir.
Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2029, the project supports the North Coast’s transformation into a year-round tourism destination. The signing marks another milestone in Accor’s expansion in Egypt and reinforces the Group’s growth strategy across the Middle East and North Africa.
The 200-key hotel will occupy a prime seafront location in the established, family-oriented area of Sidi Kerir, which is approximately 40 minutes west of Alexandria. The property will benefit from direct access via the Alexandria–Marsa Matrouh International Coastal Road, proximity to Borg El Arab International Airport, and seamless connectivity to Cairo, New Alamein and Marsa Matrouh, supporting both business and leisure demand.
Designed to meet the region’s growing demand for high-quality economy accommodation, ibis North Coast Sidi Kerir will feature a 600 square metre ballroom, six meeting rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. The signing of ibis North Coast Sidi Kerir further expands Accor’s footprint along Egypt’s North Coast, complementing the Group’s existing operations and pipeline.
