Saudi Arabia – August, 2024 – Today, adidas kicks off its partnership with AlNassr Football Club with the official launch of the club’s new home jersey for the 24/25 season.
The introduction of the new kit is more than just a wardrobe update; it’s a vivid celebration of AlNassr’s storied football legacy and ambitious future. The home jersey features the club’s iconic yellow base with striking blue details and includes the slogan ‘Nassr runs in my blood.’ This slogan symbolizes the profound connection between the club and its supporters.
Driven by a shared mission to achieve football excellence throughout the Kingdom, adidas unveils its new kits with a launch film that pays tribute to the rich tradition and history of AlNassr and its passionate fanbase. Featuring a homage to ‘The Golden Trio,’ legendary players from AlNassr’s past, the film traces the club’s journey from humble beginnings to its present-day glory, with new stars leading the charge. Showcasing vibrant scenes and pivotal moments in the club’s history, the film features men’s team players Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Abdulelah Al-Amri, and Otavio Monteiro, along with women’s team players Aseel Ahmed, Clara Luvanga, and Lina Boussaha. Inspired by match-day culture and the rich history of football in Saudi Arabia, the film is shot in various iconic locations around Riyadh and includes subtle references to moments of footballing pop culture in the Kingdom across the decades.
Inspired by AlNassr’s rich football heritage, the jersey features the palm tree and crossed swords emblem, paying homage to Saudi Arabian culture. This design adds elegance and a premium feel that will stand out both on and off the field.
The home kit features a sweat-wicking, moisture absorbent AEROREADY technology and specially placed breathable mesh inserts, keeping the players feeling comfortable while competing on the pitch and fans feeling comfortable while showing their support. The range is also made using 100% recycled materials, continuing adidas’ commitment to help end plastic waste.
