Ajman Free Zone has entered into separate partnerships with two insurance companies as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its network and provide support to investors, companies and the business community.
The free zone recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Al Sagr National Insurance Company and the Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (PLC) – Takaful – Ascana Insurance (ASCANA).
These MoUs will pave the way for Ajman Free Zone to extend value-added, high-quality and competitive healthcare insurance coverage to its investors and their families and employees. The extensive insurance will cover the costs of medical services; expenses for treatments and daily care in hospitals; ambulance fees, among others.
H.E. Eng. Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General, Ajman Free Zone, said the free zone’s new MoUs demonstrate that it recognizes the importance of the insurance sector and will help bolster the confidence of investors and foreign companies. The insurance services are the latest additions to Ajman Free Zone’s high-quality, competitively priced and easily accessible business solutions.
H.E. added: “Our cooperation with Al Sagr National Insurance Company and ASCANA has broadened further our network of strategic partners that covers various sectors. Through this approach, we seek to increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of Ajman Free Zone and continuously add value to our services. Our new ties also show our commitment to simplify procedures to save more time and effort, as well as provide an integrated platform that allows access to a wide range of facilities, incentives and innovative solutions at a competitive cost.”
AlSuwaidi further stated: “We will continue to partner with diverse government and private sector entities based on our keenness to strengthen the local business community’s growth. We will also strive to help increase the commercial activities in Ajman by building an environment that is ideal for business and investment activities and can support large-scale commercial and industrial projects. Our initiatives are aligned with Ajman’s policy to diversify its economy.”
Ajman Free Zone’s growing strategic and multisectoral partnerships are designed to consolidate its position as a preferred destination for businesses and investments. Its alliances will also help put in place a robust system within the free zone that is able to extend relevant business support and attract investments by combining innovative solutions with value-added services.
